Delivery by boat!

It was great to be able to help out the Kiribati Education Improvement Program, by improving the 94 Primary and Junior Secondary Schools on the Gilbert Islands.

The program enabled 16,000 pieces of furniture, including tables and chairs, to be sent to help provide children with a better education and learning experience. For many of the students, this was the first time they’d been able to learn while sitting on a chair and studying at a table.

As well as the furniture, each classroom needed a secure storage unit for teachers to store classroom supplies. Luckily, we had the perfect solution…

The Armorgard Forma-Stor ticked all the boxes: Being robust and flat-packed, it was easy to transport the units in bulk to the islands via boat, not to mention the ease of building them quickly at each school!

With its 5-lever deadlocks and galvanised panels that slot together, the Forma-Stor provided a sturdy, weatherproof store, ideal for safely storing the children's sports equipment, books, and other learning materials.

Thank you to the Kiribati Education Improvement Program and the Island communities for helping with this project and building hundreds of modular Forma-Stors!
